ITPulse reports that the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) did admit that network operators are complaining that OTT services offered by Whatsapp, Facebook, Skype, Viber, among others are eating into their traditional revenue, “the regulatory agency has no plans now or in the immediate future to regulate such services”.

According to ITPulse, a public report by the Policy, Competition and Economic Analysis Department of the NCC has recommended “that the Commission should encourage network providers in Nigeria to innovate and explore more efficient business models that would enable them compete favourably with OTT service providers”.

1.  First download this SuperSU.zip here, save it to your SD Card on your phone

3.  Download the Ported TWRP for Tecno L5 here and Unzip the file and flash the recovery image to the phone using SP flash tool.

4.  After you have downloaded all the tools needed, boot your phone into TWRP recovery mode by holding the Vol Up and Power button alone for 5 seconds.

5.  As your phone is in TWRP recovery mode,choose “install zip from sdcard” using your volume keys (vol up to scroll up while vol down to scroll down).

6.  Choose the “Supersu.zip” file that was saved in the SD card (memory card.)

7.  Now scroll to yes and install theSuperSu.zipfile, after a successful flashing, go back and reboot.

8.  Now you have just rooted your Android Tecno L5 Smartphone but to be so sure that your Tecno L5 device is fully rooted, use ROOT Checker app to verify your phone status.
